International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Preparation
Toronto High School offers an intensive and specialized preparation program for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. As a globally recognized and often mandatory requirement for non-native English speakers applying to universities worldwide, a strong IELTS score is a critical academic and immigration milestone. Our program is uniquely advantageous as we are an accredited IELTS test center, providing students with the convenience of both preparing for and officially taking their exam at our institution, located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
The IELTS preparation course is highly structured and focuses on the Academic module of the test, which is a near-identical preparation for the TOEFL exam as well. The curriculum is divided into flexible term lengths to accommodate varying student needs and proficiency levels:
- One Month Program: $600
- Two Months Program: $1,100 (Savings of $100)
- Three Months Program: $1,500 (Savings of $300)
Classes are offered on a flexible schedule to accommodate the demanding timetables of our high school students and mature learners, with both morning and evening sessions available at our various branches. For instance, the evening class schedule at the Richmond Hill branch runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The coursework covers comprehensive strategies and intensive practice in all four key modules of the exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Enrollment in the IELTS preparation program ensures that our international students are fully equipped not only to meet the minimum score requirements for university admission but to achieve a competitive score that enhances their post-secondary application portfolio.
